We are excited to share the 2024 Annual Report for our Bayswater Foundation. It shows exactly how our mission to provide quality language education for disadvantaged youth is making a real difference globally. We believe education unlocks potential, and this report details the commitment that drives our change
Our one-for-one mission
The principle is simple. For every student who chooses to study with us, the Foundation receives grant funding to provide free language teaching to someone less fortunate. This direct action ensures that valuable educational opportunities extend far beyond those who can afford them.
Key partnerships and global impact
We partner with established non-profit organisations to amplify our reach and impact. We currently deliver projects in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Jordan, the UK, and France.
This year, our dedicated efforts were focused on our five core partner organisations:
Mais Caminhos (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil)
Children of Medellin (Medellin, Colombia)
Cidadão Pró-Mundo (Sao Paulo, Brazil)
Bareeq Education (Jordan)
CONEDUQ (Mexico)
We also supported refugees, asylum seekers, and people from a forced migrant background through RefuAid in three of our UK schools and with refugee support in Paris.
In 2024, our collective effort provided funding for free English and French language tuition. This is a tangible impact, and we are incredibly proud to have assisted a total of 723 students.
Here is the breakdown of the young people empowered by each partner organisation:
Cidadão Pró Mundo: 375
Bareeq: 146
CONEDUQ: 100
Children of Medellin: 53
Mais Caminhos: 35
RefuAid: 9
Refugees: 5
2024 Highlights
This year was defined by significant milestones that underscore the Foundation’s growing global visibility and dedication.
💪We started a new partnership with CONEDUQ, empowering 100 young individuals with English lessons in five underserved communities. Learning a second language not only enhances their career opportunities but also fosters intercultural awareness and supports their holistic development.
💪In Colombia, we were honoured to receive a visit from George Hodgson, the British Ambassador to Colombia, at our partner Children of Medellin. He received a tour and attended an English class, a powerful demonstration of support from the UK government.
💪Our global team members are actively involved in the Foundation’s social impact initiatives. Our Regional Manager in Brazil volunteered as an English teacher, and our academic team in Brighton supported the Mais Caminhos teachers with CPD workshops and teaching materials. This human-to-human connection is essential to our success.
Education for Good
This work is only possible thanks to the support of our students, team members, and partners who believe in the power of education. We are committed to giving young people the foundational skills to unlock a life of opportunity. This report shows the significant, collective impact of that vision.
